Job Description for President of LAAIA Broward

  • Create a strategic vision for the Association
  • Oversee board and executive committee meetings
  • Work in partnership with the Executive Manager to make sure board resolutions are carried out
  • Attend board meetings, functions, and special events
  • Assist Executive Manager in preparing agenda for board meetings
  • Assist Executive Manager in conducting new board member orientation
  • Works with the Nominating Committee to recruit new board members
  • Acts as the spokesperson for the organization
